Welcome to the Joseph Trust

The Joseph Trust is a charity providing Alternative Education for children and young people in York, and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We have been providing these services since 1998 during which time we have helped hundreds of children and young people.

We work with young students, who are struggling to engage with mainstream education, using alternative outdoor learning experiences to enable them to gain life skills, practical learning and support for them to return to full time education.

We provide a full day from 10am to 2pm with our experienced staff and volunteers leading activities which are tailored to the needs of the pupils.
